I posted about a year ago on this board, in regard to a standard 8mm sound projector introduced at the dawn of super 8 , as the most advanced 8mm sound projector ever built in the standard 8 era. I recalled this from an article in Popular Photography. I stated that I believed it was built by Viewlex.
No one else had a recollection of this ...here is one on Ebay being advertised as Super 8...but look closely at the spindles...it is a version of standard 8, a format called Mauer 8. Read the description below the photos.
