Viewer?
It is described as a Super 8 viewer, which I am very doubtful about. Looks like the reel holders are for 16 mm; there is no screen, but what is the electrical connection for; why have adjustable distances for the reel holders?

That definitely is a mystery machine [Confused]

This is what the ad says:
quote:
For sale is an old cinema technology HKS movie viewer / film projector. Super 8 Used but excellent condition see photo. The lamp is OK. Power cable / cord is also included.
With 2 winches on rails.
Pickup in Vienna 22 Kaisermühlen.

It looks more like a sound reader than a viewer/projector!

At work we have a similar viewer for 9.5mm film.
I made some pictures so you can see how it works.
It projects the image on the white piece of paper behind the viewer.

Thank you Hans! I would never have suspected this.

That is so cool Hans...thank you for posting. I would love one of those for my 16mm reels [Smile]

I should add this viewer hardly gives enough light to watch the movies, so I'm desperately looking for another (better) 9.5mm viewer.
I surely wouldn't spend € 149 for such a viewer, although it looks nice.
