Hi guys.
I have an 807D that I'm having a problem with. The adapters and gates etc for both formats are all present, but the feed arm has no metal bar that clips over the reel, keeping it firmly on the arm. I wonder if there was originally a special super 8 adaptor that performed this role? I have tried different S8 adapters but so far have found none that keep the reel in place. I find that unless my films have no wear at all on the spool, they just sit loosely on the arm and fall off after a minute or two. Its most annoying.

Dear John, the Eumig dual projectors used to be supplied with a
plastic sleeve for fitting over the std 8mm spindle. The sleeve had
a little plastic retainer that held the spool in place.Classic might
have some or the german company Wittner.Failing that, you can
try keeping the spool attatched by using a rubber washer, like a
tap washer with a similar diameter hole to the spindle to lock the
spool on.I've tried it and it works.

Thanks Hugh,
I bought the projector complete with an adaptor but obviously not the right one. I have tried two or three others but have found none with the little retainer. Your info will come in very useful. Many thanks.

Have you got something figured out yet on yours? I don't know if it would help at all but I could send you pictures of mine? Let me know.
