Has anybody else here had sound issues with this unit? I thread the film which is automatic there is hum coming from it but no sound I tried 2 different sound titles and nothing.

is the sound drum suppose to turn when the unit is on? if so it looks like it has a slot in it are these run by a belt?

If I remember correctly the sound drum is turned by the film and not a belt. Check for thr film feeding.

I have one too, my problem with it that the sound likes it runs around 22 fps instead of 24.

your right pat it does turn when the film is playing when i turn the volume up there is some Squealing that is high pitched but that is all.
