Hi all,I mostly have dedicated standard 8 or super 8 projectors and they work fine for 99% of the time. But the experience i've had with the dual format projector that changes with a switch have been mixed.I presume they are different in the feeding of the film area as the teeth are different for standard and super?

If you want to try a dual-8, then I would go with a Eumig, since they have interchangeable sprockets as well as film gate. (The claw/intermittent remains the same.) The Bell and Howell dual-8s are sprocket-less (= bad). I saw another brand recently on eBay with interchangeable sprockets, but I don't remember the brand. Also, keep in mind that Eumigs have other issues (don't they all?) -- most notably with the rubber disc drives.

Yeah I recently got a eumig 712 but it didn't have the standard 8 gate or sprockets so that was a disapointment!
I have another dual that doesn't have sprockets like the B&H and it works great UNLESS THE FILM is not perfect, grab and crunch was the result [Frown]
