Hi all, I have a Sankyo 700 projector which is working fine except for running in reverse. It starts off ok but soon starts to slow down and eventually stops. It rewinds fine so I'm a bit puzzled. Could it be one of the belts? Cheers Mike

Hi Michael. Sankyo machines are notorious for dry solder joints on circuit boards and my first ever Sankyo had such problems out of the box brand new. Rather than send my new machine back the service engineer talked me through the repair over the phone which was a case of carefully waggling the boards when the machine was running to locate the area at fault. It could be a similar fault or perhaps a faulty control switch?
