I've just replaced on my FUMEO 9120 the lamp socket with a new one, because the socket was completely burnt.

Now the problem is... how to retrieve the correct position in order to centre the light passing through the film gate and maximize it?

There are screws to regulate the socket vertically and screws to chenge its orientation on the right and on the left.

Any practical suggestion?

thanks
Flavio

Switch lamp on and look at the screen?

Not very reliable and safe to move the socket, loosing the screws, with the lamp in on position, don't you think?

On my model Flavio, the plate that holds the lamp proper is flush
with the edge of the metal casing with a gap of 22mm at the top
& 2mm below, the edge of lamp housing and edges of casing that are gapped for adjustment.Hope this helps.
