Hello,First time on the board,I recently purchased a Fujica 8 8mm silent projector online and on arrival the fan was broken. Does anybody know where I can purchase a new fan part. Its made of plastic,3 inches in diameter and looks similar to a watermill wheel. Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks Brian

Welcome to the forum Brian. Is it possible to post a picture of the broken fan. I'm not familiar with your model projector...but it's possible that someone has a spare parts machine with one that might fit. Also what is the depth of the fan?

I think what you need is a squirrel cage impeller.

They are available as standard replacement parts. (They get old, the plastic gets brittle, they break...)

Can you post some pictures?

OUCH!

Yep! Looks like your squirrel has escaped!

I'm guessing this part had a metal hub (with a setscrew?) that's still mounted on the shaft?

If you post some measurements (3" diameter, ? depth, ? shaft size) maybe I can find you a replacement part.

When I get home from work I will do more measurements and get back to you all.Yes, I did see a metal hub with setscrews still attach to the shaft. Ill try to extract it
