I recently noticed that some members have started to completely remove the content of their posts, mainly in the sale/trade section...
Why? Is there any specific reason?

I've always found this puzzling too. If someone makes a sale, why does the post then need to be removed? Is this a forum requirement?
It would make more sense to leave the posts standing as they can be useful in the future for price references, etc.

Same thought Michael!
Let's wait for any different opinion...

I support Michael. Now PM discussions may have led to renegotiation of the prices. Despite this, it is useful for price referencing.

It is also useful when someone joins the forum to sell stuff but says he "doesn't know the value of what he is selling". With past sales figures readily available, the newcomer's items can be priced.
