Does anyone know or heard of a projector called NILUS (im not sure the spelling is right ! )
I would be glad for all kinds of information concerning this.

The Nilus was made by the Italian firm of Cirse in 1957. It looked somewhat like a Bell & Howell and was for Standard (Regular) 8.

This AD for the Nilus is from June 1958 issue of Amateur Cine World: The design is cosmetically similar to the Bell & Howell 606H. But the Nilus has the superior Phillips low voltage 8 Volt 50 watt lamp. These lamps are still available. The Nilus has a variable speed motor and an f1.5 lens. It has a manual gear rewind.

What do you mean by conversion ? Upgrading or making a "decorating object" like some death penalty meriting people dare to do ?
