I have no information on your serial numbers. The P8 was probably made from the mid fifties to the mid sixties.

Pasquale

The P8 is a standard/regular 8 projector, the one on the super 8 database is the P8 dual and is not the projector to which we refer.

I bought my P8 Imperial (with 1/4" audio tape control) in 1959.

hello Niels,

the dates described earlier are wrong. the p8 was build between 1954 and 1967, they have made many thousands of them so the only way to know exactly wich year they come is to search for it in a special list which they have at www.eumig.at. i also happen to have the list and your

89526 is missing a number, maybe a 2 at the front? then it's from 1956 from a series of 13.000 machines

1028579 is from 1961 in a series of 5000 pieces
