Just a stupid question here ... Is it okay to give someone the manual in PDF format? I mean, it would take away a sale from whomever offers these for sale (are they allowed to sell these, as I suspect Elmo has the copyright?)

Just checked mine and it's a copy ... Not all good, but I'll try to finish the scan tomorrow. It won't be straight, as it's copied a bit off too, but I think it's readable. Have the ST-1200HD manual and the ST-1200D service manual though
