Stars Wars doesn't appear on the page that remains on the Net as feature but as 400 feet extract and had an N code. To give you an idea, Star trek Generations had a W code Of course, the best is to go to the "forgotten page" http://derannlists.co.uk/derann/8a.php

Once when I wanted to buy it from Derann it was 375 quid. Not sure exactly what year that was. I remember it was the same price as Terminator 2, and I couldn't decide. Then my diff went in the car and I couldn't afford either one!

It matchs the price list. Terminator II was sold at 375 £.

I remember paying approximately 400.00 dollars in the late 1980's when it first came out. Happy to say that with Alien, it's one of those few prints that have actually went way up in value!

Another helpful location for Derann is the web archive. Derann 2002

Not sure how much I paid, but I think I bought it when first released, followed by the other two.

Would I sell it?

Don't think so. I've only ever sold 3 or 4 titles since I started collecting in the mid 70's

Thanks again, the reason I asked is because I've been offered a Derann print privately. Osi, did you ever get that striper goin'? I have a 400' digest that needs a sound stripe....

The August 1989 issue of FFTC has a review and the prices from when it first went on sale: £289 stereo, £259 mono.

Thanks Adrian. So that was $400.00 USD for a mono version. That was a reasonable price, and to me, it still is. Not the inflated prices I see it selling for now....

If that was $400 dollars of 1980s money, what would that be in todays dollars?

About $789.
Here is a link to an inflation calculator:
