Just bought a Super 8 sound film titled "Kitchen Mousechief", it just has a silent title, obviously added by Mountain Films. The box has a splendid coloured cover but no mention of Mountain.

Click on the eBay link to see a standard 8 copy for sale.

But the end tail gives the game away. The end title is a Pictoreel standard end title, and then further along is its original title "When The Cat's Away". This is a 1935 Happy Harmony cartoon from MGM, and directed by Rudolf Ising.

There is a coloured version available but the colour's not too great as the original was filmed on two-colour Technicolor.

But the question is, why did Mountain re-title this film, and also their other Pictoreels?
