I have two boxes in front of me, each containing a 200' cartoon.

A Little Roquefort called "Pastry Panic" 221
A Tom & Jerry called "Quiet Please" M-110

On the back of the first box are details of Ken Films, wherin it says they distribute films of American International, United Artists, Warner Bros, Paramount, Terrytoons and Republic.

The second box clearly states that it is an MGM Super 8, with a MGM address in New Jersey, however, the leader of this Tom & Jerry says "Ken Films".

Can some kind person explain all this?

Maurice,

Ken Films released and distributed MGM's Super 8 product. Ken was the lab client, so their name is on the leader. The MGM address in Bogota, NJ was a post office box. The back of that Little Roquefort box was used by Ken before they started putting out sound films, however they kept using it for later non-MGM releases.

Doug, do you have any idea other labels that were printed/released/distributed by Ken.

I would suspect that those XX movies (not too porn I guess) also were done by Ken, because the artwork cover has similar style.

cheers,
