I would appreciate any suggestions about where to find a part for a recently acquired Eumig 810.
It arrived missing one half of the tiny plastic split rollers in the compartment that feeds the take-up reel.
Thanks!

I have one. If you send me your address I will send it to you.

I'm missing two halves on a spare machine. Got any more, Zechariah?

I think so. Send me your address as well.

These parts are being produced newly again!
See:
http://www.van-eck.net/itable.php?lang=en&size=0&cat=film&merk=57&type=Mark%20S%20810
Today just added an new part:
The nice thing about this new part is that is works not only for super8 reels, but also for regular8!

Edwin. I don't see the piece discussed here on your list. Maybe you don't refer to the same thing ?

Yes, the parts being talked about are the very small rollers that put together give a diablo shape so they do not touch the film except at the far edges, about 3mm diameter.

Ok! Yes, we are also working on these rollers (for the Eumig 8 series), and also for the Eumig 6 series (these are different).
Hope to release these soon as well.

The rollers would be a great addition!
As nearly as I can figure, the original ones are made of some kind of anti-matter.
-any time I have worked on a Eumig and one has fallen off the table, I have never, never, never seen it again! They just vanish!
Nearly as I can figure, some distant corner of the galaxy is full of them!
I've machined a few out of Delrin rod: close, could be better.

I think the little Eumig rollers may possibly be made from Delrin AF, which is Delrin with an anti-friction very low wear Teflon filler. Delrin is typically black, whereas Delrin AF is brown.

THESE elusive little cutie pies:
Edwin, I'm also very interested in your spindle sleeves, but if the fins aren't spring loaded and capable of retracting, won't work with some reels I have where the three notches are unevenly cut, or have fewer than three notches. Please clarify if your replacement part is solid or moveable, thanks. The original single-fin adapter works with all reels that I have:
...where that photo shows that the adapter has a piece missing, which is the reason why I'm looking for a replacement.

Does anyone have the standard 8mm sprockets for the Eumig 824? This is for the later edition that enabled you to remove the super 8 and standard 8mm sprockets.
