Back in the 60's (maybe 70's) there used to be a
company called Hollywood Historic Films, operated
by Kemp Niver. They used to offer prints of the Bill
Hart films O' Malley Of The Mounted, White Oak, Sand!,
and The Testing Block.
I know of one collector who bought a print of Sand! back
in the day...has anyone ever actually seen any of the
other titles on 8mm or 16mm?

John
I would be very interested in what documentation you have of Kemp Niver's company releasing films to the home collector as I have no reference of that.. I do know his company put together films for the educational market, most notably a series entitled THE FIRST TWENTY YEARS....Your friends print of Sand was probably from EMGEE (or Murray Glass) as they offered it for sale.
