Hi, I am a new member so please bear with me if this has already been answered.
Trying to get my old Elmo FPA dual 8mm projector going after sitting for possibly 30 years.
On pressing the green lever forward to start the auto film threading, the motor stops driving.
Also the heat shield does not pop up automatically when the projector is running.
It also needs a new bulb but I will get it running properly before outlaying the hugh cost for a new globe.
Any help would be much appreciated. A manual on how to clean and oil the machine would also be much appreciated.

Did you work out how to get Elmo working?
As I have 2 of them, including a FP-A duel format and I have had issues which I have solved.
