Here's another one I screened on Monday, though I only uploaded the last battle part of it! Sadly, the camera makes the blacks look red, but what are ya gonna do?

Enjoy!

Get taken to court by Lucasfilm / Disney if you're not careful, Osi!

I posted some short clips of the norwegian puppet movies, they were promptly removed :-/ Got a warning, so I took down the Raiders clip too.

Be careful. Is it Disney or Fox that would come for you? ;-)

I don't see how, (taken to court that it), as that STAR WARS 400ft digest was an official release. They sue me I'll sue them for defamation of character! I'm simply putting it out there for people to watch, and I'm not charging them anything.

Just one more, a 7 minute clip from my 1977 version "Close Encounters of the Third KInd" on super 8 scope, last reel.

But still, it's copyrighted material and it's not a problem you owning the 400' digest, just that you copied it and share it with others. I think that's the problem

Probably won't happen anything

Well, if someone grumps about it, I'll remove it, so, either enjoy it while you can, or make a copy of it! [Smile]

Osi, I'm only half kidding you; probably the worst that would happen is you'll be asked to take it down.

I'm not trying to be a killjoy, but as has been discussed here before, owning an official print doesn't give the right to copy or distribute it, only to view it with family and friends.

And Lucasfilm & Disney can be pretty unforgiving if they don't like something.

Anyway, I don't want to get into a row over it; as Vidar says, probably you'll get away with it...plenty of other youtubers seem to.

Grahame Newnham was telling me that some of his output was taken down from Youtube within a matter of hours. I understand there is a continual electronic reading of new submitted material and if it contravenes copyright in any way it is automatically removed.
Copyright can also extend to the music in a film.

And of course music in general Maurice, though You Tube still gets away with allowing high quality Vivo HD Music Videos on there somehow.
I suppose if you are owned by Google, you can more or less do as you please.
