I am always on the look out for any old catalogues from Derann especially the later ones that I don't already have.

Similarly, the same applies to the "Film For the Collector" magazines that I don't already have (there are quite a few).

If anyone has any that they want to turn into cash, please get in touch.

Thanks in advance,
Andrew

I read at least one issue all over again every week, cover to cover David.

Derann steeped with all its humble beginnings and sheer determination to continue on with what all others considered dead in the water, has brought about a fascination to me and given me a complete admiration for a certain Mr Simmonds who pursued his own ambitions and dreams whilst leaving us all with his legacy and truly treasured products.

To gain a deal with the Disney company so late in the day for Super 8, speaks volumes to me as to just how determined and charismatic Derek really was!

Disney or 20th Century Fox or Orion, never needed any of this trivial business but they recognized a true lover of the medium of film and Derek got his way...not for the first time it seems! [Wink]

Through him and Shiekh Mansour, my dreams have also been realized.
Hopefully many others feel the same.
