Great news! In the latest edition of Film Collector, Keith Wilton has announced that he has made provisional bookings for 2 events next year. Saturday 2nd April and Saturday 29th October, both at St Benedicts School, Ealing.

Does that mean that Keith is planning two conventions next year, or is he just not sure which date to hold a single convention?

Good question. It sounds like 2 conventions because he has booked both dates and the article says he will give final confirmation of the DATES in the next issue.

Paul,

Keith is definatly planning two conventions next year, so all looks well for No.s 64 & 65.

Looks like it is back to the "good old days".

If you see when the conventions started and then at the current number of conventions held you will see how many years in which there were 2.

Bad luck : the next BFCC will take place on the 2nd April, which fails during the Easter holiday so that I won't be able to attend this wonderful meeting as I will be far away :-(

Please note that the dates are provisional because one year the school cancelled one for work to be done, keep an eye on the BFCC web site just in case.

Easter here is really early next year, Easter Sunday is March 27th.

Brian, following the BFCC's webside, the date is confirmed. I guess the school will not renew the hall every year :-)

Nice to see we're going back to two per year now. Shows there's still support.
:-)

Is it really back to 2 per yr now or is it just for the 40th anniversary? As I gathered from what Keith told me in Blackpool,
the October fair will be a one-off...

Dominique - I was repeating what Keith told me at Blackpool.

Brian, the result is the same : I won't be able to be there this time :-(

Unfortunately the same goes for me, I booked up to go to a Members Weekend and AGM the other end of the country before the date was formally announced.
