Hi

I have inherited a Chinon C300 projector which seems to have a problem with the light.

I have changed the bulb and tested the connection with a multi meter There seems to be current flowing at the connection but bulb doesn't light up. I have tried 3 new bulbs.

Could it be an issue with the quality of the current?

Has anyone else had a similar issue with a projector?

Thanks

It could be a poor connection to the lamp socket. The terminals in the socket could be tarnished etc causing electrical resistance. A 100 watt lamp will draw a far greater current than a multi-meter.
