I'm delighted to tell you that I have just received a reel of 200ASA Standard 8 colour film, processed paid from Gauge Films, Dudley, West Midlands UK. This means that I can use my H8 once more!

Makes very interesting reading. A product called Solvon for cleaning films sent in is mentioned. Has anyone used this? It's new to me.

John - That's good to hear. it would also be interesting to hear your comments of the film quality after it has all been processed.

You can find also black and white filmstock from the widescreencentre (London) and colour stock from Kahl (in Germany but it is not easy to buy for individuals).

Dave, I use Solvon Type 2 to clean and lubricate my films.
I would like to buy Filmguard but it can't be shipped by air to Japan. Solvon is one of the few film cleaners and lubricants that can be shipped by air. I bought it from Urbanski Film.
