I'm sure that I'm not the first person to see this auction ...

I wonder, is this a magnetic sound print of STAR TREK The Wrath of Khan, and if so, a digest or full feature ...
Or, could this be an optical sound super 8mm airline feature print? that IS possible.

Interesting this, Osi...
There is an "unofficial" 3 x 400ft version of Star Trek II - The Wrath of Khan" with magnetic sound.
Marketing were going to release this and made some test prints before going under in 1982.
So 3 x 400ft magnetic abridged versions do exist.
The leader here shows a magnetic print with "Star Trek II" on it.
And the leader i-dent "82-6516" is significant.
However, the description is vague..."3. Star Trek II- Great color on the WB logo. Leader has "Star Trek II" written on it, see picture."
WB??? Warner Bros. ??? Star Trek is a Paramount release so tread carefully here and ask a lot of questions...

I think this is the ultra-rare Loony Tunes Star Trek:
"Space! The Final Fwontier...."

Ask Cooper, it exists.

This would be in the top ten wanted list for me, i thought the wrath of Kahn was /still is the best of the Star trek movies and 3 x 400ft would be great, even better if a good print turned up on 16mm full length.

A 3 x400ft was available from America. From a chap in Cudhay LA.

Apparently the Marketing print was masked for widescreen.
I believe Uncle Barry had some for sale many moons ago.
It would indeed be a collector gem.
David, have you seen the American 3 x 400ft? What was it like?

Intriguing - the leader certainly looks American and not a Marketing release. I hope the buyer is a Forum member and can eventually tell us more!

You took the words out of my mouth Adrian ...
PLEASE!!! If the buyer is a member of the forum, please give us some screenshots when you have the time!
I would be willing to bet that, since it was a very late release, it might well be AGFA film stock, (as "Raiders of the Lost Ark 400ft was in large part, AGFA film stock!)
