As mentioned in the "What film did you watch last night" thread I have made my own holder for my Kowa 8Z from 12mm MRF. It is fixed to a board for the projector to stand on so both can be tilted at the same time to match screen height. It may have to be modified a little for the Norisound 412 as the framing knob is now behind the upright and difficult to operate.

Here is a picture of it in place to use. After more testing and any modifications it will be painted black to match the projector.

That looks like a nice homemade scope lens holder. How exactly is the lens secured to the wood?

The lens in secured only by the fact that the hole it fits through is just the same size as the lens barrel. The hole was cut smaller than sanded out with a flap wheel sander until it just went in.

More then 12mm of that make of lens is available between the thread and the black pined part that has the focusing distances on. All the thread is through the holder so a collar could be fitted if it had been needed.
