Here's what my picture bounce looks like on my Eumig Mark S 810 D Lux,I've been adjusting the claw depth a lot trying to get it right, sometimes worse and sometimes better.
Should I keep trying?

Any advice or thoughts appreciated [Smile]

Cheers,
Clinton

I warned you that making the claw adjustment would be a pain. However... it looks like you did a good job. It looked a lot better to me Clinton. The film itself can contribute to the bounce too. Sprockets can shrink. One projector might handle a film better than others. If you enlarge the picture so you don't see the edges...the bounce is not noticed.

The result is not perfect but certainly acceptable !

I have a slightly bouncy print that is actually excellent other than that. (A Derann, no less!)

The bounce is annoying, but only if I can see the top and bottom of the image on screen. If I bury them in the masking it looks fine.

Sometimes what you don't know really can't hurt you! (-but not often enough!)

Some vertical movement in prints is very commonplace, in the prints themselves, irrespective of a projectors pull down movements.
Unless excessive, it isn't typically too much of a distraction.
