I'd like to rent a decent Super8 projector to digitize s ome old family films. Located in MA. Anybody out there rent these things?
I tried to get a friend's B&H 466A running but I can't seem to get the drive wheels to make contact with the shutter wheel etc.. I replaced the belt and one drive wheel but no luck.

I don't know how big your project is. But I am willing to help.

If the total time to transfer movies is an afternoon, then we can work it out.

I have tools and equipment. I have everything to edit, splice, clean rewind the film prints. Plus, I have a lot of knowledge on prepping film prints for projection.

You will have to provide the camera part and/or video signal to dvd recorder, etc.

I do not rent my equipment but you are welcome to use it here.

Chipgelmini (at) yahoo (dot) com if you would like to set this up.

To keep the hobby alive, and for the love of film, I do not charge you. Just offering to help.

I am in Falmouth on the Cape. You get to see my super 8 theater setup, too :-)

Thanks, that is very generous of you. Sorry for the delayed reply- I misplaced my notes on this project. I did however find a working projector with a damaged lens on Craigslist locally, that I was able to use the other lens on and got a good transfer made.
I appreciate the zeal which so many posters on this site have to keep the 8mm medium alive. Keep it uP!
