Hi all, i have an 807D and i have cleaned the rubber drive discs with iso alcohol and lubricated the mechanism but am still getting some slippage at the discs mainly on rewind. Can anyone recomend a rubber restoter or something similar that will give the discs more traction?.

This is how I treated the disks on a couple of mine from the 700 series. After cleaning the disks, as you've done, I stood the projector on its front and applied brake fluid (glycol-ether based not mineral) to the rubber on the front disk with a small paintbrush. It's best to put some paper or an old cloth under it to soak up any drips. I left it to soak in for 24 hours before wiping off any surplus. I then stood the projector on its back and repeated the process. It worked for me.

Take a look at the motor mounts to see if there is any disintegration of the plastic. It is a common problem on these projectors and causes the spinning disc to shift from the intended position so that full contact is not made with the large drive disc. It's possible to buy new mounts from Van Eck. This is a link to the shophttps://shop.van-eck.net/
