The sound went on this today and checked what i believe is the amp fuse and it had blown. So i replaced it and switched it on and heard a pop from the speaker and the fuse instantly blew again, tried it one more time and the same thing happened.Does anybody have any idea what the problem could be.

Hi Jason, probably a transistor shorted to ground, not sure where they are on this machine. I had a similar problem on mine, but not the transistor, its was a cap shorted that kept blowing the fuse.

If it's popping fuses constantly the fault could be anywhere on the board. I'd start by checking the capacitors to see if any of them are bulging as they may need replacing. Also look for dry solder joints on the tracks.

Paul & stewart, thanks for the reply's, i may have to get rid of it then as changing a fuse is about as far as my electronics knowledge goes.Shame as other than the sound problem it works fine.
