Hi,

I'm in the process of replacing the capacitors on my elmo ST-1200 super 8 projector. Removing the wires to the pcb I accidentally pulled one of the terminals from the circuit board and I'm wondering where it went. It's one of the 3 white wires. I've attached a pic to help better explain my dilemma. Would anybody have any insight on where to reattach it?

Thanks
Matt

Hi Matt,

Which ST-1200 is this? (D?,HD?)

There is a sound board schematic for ST-1200HD here in the manuals section. (maybe two weeks now)

I just finished some sound board work on my own ST-1200HD and I have the pictures I shot to help me put it back together. Maybe there is something there than can help.

Which connection is this? It looks like the back of a switch. Where does the other end of that cable go?

Here's a weird thought for you. This wire doesn't look like it can reach very many places: too short and limited by the other wire in the same cable. Why don't you look around in the imaginary radius this wire could connect to and look for something that looks snapped off?

Hi Steve,

Thank you for you reply. I didn't see any obvious break off points. It's a d model. I have looked at the schematic but I haven't seen anything helpful as the wires aren't labeled by color. It looks like it's either for the ALC switch or the normal record/double record switch.

Matt
