Just curious as I can't seem to find any information out there.

Has there ever been a release of any Halloween, Frday the 13ths, Hellraiser, Child's play and Nightmare on Elm Streets on Super 8? Ether digest or full feature.

Cheers

I'm pretty sure a Halloween feature was released by Derann but the others aren't on any release on super 8,Mark

"Friday the 13th" and "My Bloody Valentine" were scheduled for release by Marketing Films International but never reached the market. I remember seeing a promotional ad listing these titles along with "Raiders of the Lost Ark." I bet actor Kevin Bacon doesn't mind "Friday" not reaching homes in Super 8 format, since he has distanced himself from the film! (I think I also would not have fond memories of having a spear thrust through my throat. Lol.)

Ahh a Halloween full feature would be a dream to own on Super 8!
Shame about Friday the 13th, just seemed to me a perfect film for the format, especially if one was planning to take the project on a log cabin holiday;)

Haha probably true Carter. Definitely not one of his best acting moments [Smile]

Well I've found this but my German is not up to scratch.
I think the film is in German too but is it full feature or digest can't quite tell. I noticed it says 350m in the description.

I don't have the link handy on me, but I saw today that someone in the UK is selling a reel of the first three Halloween films trailers all together. that little reel has to be fairly rare!

I just checked that link Osi cheers.
However if the screenshot is any guide its seems as if the print is fading to a warm red. [Smile]

I thought it looked pretty good ...

but yes, you'd expect some definite "warm reds" from a certain little boy who likes to play with knives! [Smile]

In fact the same seller offering the Halloween trailer reel is also offering the equally rare LA Films release that has the first three Friday 13th films. This one is clearly on low fade stock, so anyone wanting it should expect to pay a substantial sum!
