Does anyone here know how to make up a power supply for the Beaulieu 4008-ZM super 8mm camera? I have seen what looks like homemade units, but I have no idea how hard it is to make one. any ideas from anyone would be great.

Thanks

Tom, see this blog post from Ignacio Benedeti Corzo :

https://mimundoensuper-8.blogspot.com/2019/01/baterias-eneloop-panasonic-de-cbd-una.ht ml

(blog is in Spanish, but use the Chrome browser to get automatic translation into English)

As far as making these power cells yourself as a DIY job, I have no idea if that's feasible. But he says the price is reasonable and "the Eneloop batteries can be recharged up to 2,100 times . The Eneloop lose their charge slowly, which means it can be used longer than standard alkaline batteries. In addition, still they retain 70% of its original capacity after 10 years. In the case of the CBD adaptation, battery performance increase even more because they are the Eneloop Pro , designed for intensive professional use."
