I have a Silma S101 Dual 8mm projector but no instructions on how to replace the belt. It seems like its locked in and would require a fair amount of disassembly. Anyone know how or have instructions for it? Attached a couple images of it (One is with motor removed for a project).

Thanks all.

Silma seem particularly bad at making easy to replace drive belts! When my Silma Bivox needed to have a new belt it never worked again! Got a correct new belt for it and after seeing if I could replace it myself gave up. Sent it to service centre that existed in those days and they made a complete mess of it! With the flywheel that helped control the sound never refitted correctly. After several more attempts gave up!

@Bill Sherren: That's a shame. Cant think why they'd make it so hard. So people would have had to return it to them for repair??

@Leon Norris: Thanks. Although its been converted to be my telecine machine so doesn't look like it once did! [Big Grin]
