Just to let folks know ...

I am still following this restoration of color process situation. This was commented and posted upon about a month or more ago. It is a process by Alberto over in Italy. On the surface, it certainly looks like a "godsend" when it comes to faded prints.

My personal concerns were raised when i noticed on the print treated with this process, (Little Shop of Horrors) had quite noticeable red blotches that were not a part of the original prints to begin with.

Brad, could you potentially share those screenshots if you still have them on this new series of posts?

my hopes are that the further prints that have been treated will be shared (in the way of either video or screenshots) by those who have had this treatment done since the "Horrors" print as, if this problem has been addressed and eliminated, this would most certainly be very good news, as I still would like to have some features, optical and otherwise, treated in this fashion.

Please note everybody ...

This is in no way an attack on Alberto Vangelisti or his treatment. I have great respect for him and highly applaud his work in this endeavor and he is a friend as well. [Smile]
