Hi, does anyone know where i can find a print of reel 1 of the 4 parter released by Universal 8 of Richard Pryor: Live in Concert (1979). Any condition will do!?!

Hi-Robert,
There used to be loads of parts 2,3 & 4 about,I remember seeing loads of them in Derann's bargain box when they used to attend the Ed Mason Movie Fairs in London in the 90's,I think they bought a job lot when Universal 8/Capitol films went under.
Funnily enough this title was only licensed for sale in the US/Canada when first released.

Why that could happen (i.e Reel 1 was lesser circulated).

I believe when this was first released you could buy the entire feature or just individual reels. SInce there was no storyline to follow it allowed those collectors on a budget to pick up 20 min or so of Pryor's stand-up comedy without having to buy the entire feature.
