So anyone?
Posted by Michael Beyer (Member # 1143) on January 25, 2010, 02:01 AM:
Jeroen,
it was on Ebay Germany some days ago (posted here in the forum) and had the same quality as Gian's or mine...

I don´t think its easy to find again a print for the amount as it was sold on ebay.
A brand new print was 1000 Euro and it cost now 1200 Euro.
PS. I know a collector he want sell his 35mm print (english sound), its cheaper than a new S8 print.

Yes, it was a very good price for this stunning copy. It's the best I've ever saw on Scope-Super 8.

Yes i know it was sold on Ebay,i know it's hard to find and i hope someone don't want his print anymore.
Anyway i save some money now 1000 or 1200 is much for me,i like movies but i hope i find it a cheaper, maby 500 Euro or 600.
It's my only wish this year to find it.

Jeroen, last year both Paul Foster and our Kevin Faulkner have sold a used copy for £300. Everything could happen...
Ciao !

Oemer, indeed I've just been asked by CHC 950 euro for a new fresh copy ... with magnetic stripes but mute.
Posted by Jeroen van Ooijen (Member # 1104) on January 25, 2010, 11:45 AM:
Mute???it's a real business! why
Posted by Gian Luca Mario Loncrini (Member # 1417) on January 25, 2010, 11:49 AM:
Jeroen, features supplied by CHC can be silent or sound. Silent copies, if you have any facility to re-record or sync them while screening, are a little cheaper. Ciao.

Oh Gian i didn't know,thanks.
I think this became an obsession because it is hard to find a real challenge for me,by the way thank you for your mail
Gian
And guys think about me SELL IT!

Never be in a hurry. All issues we are after always appear, sooner or later ! Think positive!
Ciao Jeroen. Greetings to R.

Hi Jeroen,
DOn't worry. I think that 500 euros for a copy is not a dream. The copy on ébay sold a couple of weeks ago was sold at +-$600 (400 euros).
So: good luck.
JC.

Thank you i will keep dreaming now,and i hope i'll find it this year, for now i have the dvd,but that's not my passion.
It is the greatest movie ever made, and i watch it every year.
I have heard that in 2012 the re-release is in 3D from Titanic
Posted by Gian Luca Mario Loncrini (Member # 1417) on January 25, 2010, 04:25 PM:
You would probably better wait, so, to have the 3D edition !
Posted by Jeroen van Ooijen (Member # 1104) on January 25, 2010, 04:46 PM:
No Gian,i can't wait you know me
Posted by Michael Beyer (Member # 1143) on January 26, 2010, 01:46 AM:
Gian,
I bought Kevin's copy of Titanic
Didn't thought long about it for that price
Posted by Jeroen van Ooijen (Member # 1104) on January 26, 2010, 03:13 AM:
Was it much Michael?
Posted by Gian Luca Mario Loncrini (Member # 1417) on January 26, 2010, 06:59 AM:
Michael, you were the one eh eh eh.
Lucky boy !
Jeroen, if I were you, I'd decide first if to buy a brand new copy or a used one.
Posted by Jeroen van Ooijen (Member # 1104) on January 26, 2010, 08:23 AM:
I'll try a used one, because a new one is to much money, and i don't think i can buy it in parts, and they don't use paypal.
Posted by Gian Luca Mario Loncrini (Member # 1417) on January 26, 2010, 08:29 AM:
My suggestion is the following.
Save 100 Euro every month for your TITANIC PURPOSE.
And keep on looking for a used copy, in the meanwhile.
If you cannot find a used one within the end of the year, you will have anyway the amount to order a brand new print.
I'm not joking, Jeroen. Just do it!
Posted by Jeroen van Ooijen (Member # 1104) on January 26, 2010, 01:01 PM:
Gian,you've got mail!
Posted by Gian Luca Mario Loncrini (Member # 1417) on January 26, 2010, 02:09 PM:
Mail sorted .
Ciao.
Posted by Michael Beyer (Member # 1143) on January 27, 2010, 07:49 AM:
No, Jeroen, it was very cheap.
At that time I could got a used copy for 700 Euros.
At the moment I think about "The Mummy", but 800 Euros is too expensive for me at the moment.
