Also are anymore of Disney's Christmas Special on Super 8mm

In both cases you have to pay attention to where it was printed. "Pluto's Christmas Tree" came directly from Disney (pin sharp but all faded, I think) or Derann (likely not faded). "Christmas" as I've posted elsewhere took me three tries to get a complete unfaded one.

Always popular with the kids that one Grant and as our Bill mentioned Disney issued it on 8mm as did Derann. The Derann print is full length with the Disney copy slightly abridged available in silent or sound which I used to have prior to the Derann copy. It does become available but not usually until after Christmas for obvious reasons. As Bill mentioned part of Pluto’s Christmas Tree can be found within the 400ft Walt Disney Christmas but do remember the cartoons on that reel are abridged drastically. I’ve been giving voluntary xmas film shows to youth groups now for years and that particular cartoon is the one the young people ask to see again. Another popular cartoon for a younger audience is Popeye in Dizzy Divers which has so much going on in it and is simply amazing to them.

Try Independent 8, CHC, Paul Foster or Perry’s who are always a great help. [Cool]

Also I don't know how to find CHC, Paul Foster or Perry’s?

And I have looked at other websites the you guys on the forum have suggested to buy from and I can't figure out how to order from them. The often have instructions on how to do so and leave emails, but I have sent a number of emails and have received nothing in return. Am I doing something wrong?

Many people when dealing with emails thinking they will straight get the response as he/she is talking through the phone.

No, just let us look back 15 years ago when sending a physical letter is a norm, we should be waiting for couple days to get the response.

There is time different between us, so the seller might sleep when you are sending an email.

Also one we must carefully understand, many sellers are doing another job for their living so the sellers may don't have time to take the order right away.

Otherwise, just go to Ebay and you make a bid there.

Grant, you also asked Barry's email on the other thread, you can scroll down and browse through entire website and will find his email. But again, be patient.

If you collect any of the Disney shorts, whether "Pluto's Christmas Tree" or "Walt Disney Christmas", make sure it is a UK printing. US printings were made on quick fade Eastman stock, and all the US printings are in various states of fade. The UK printings (which I believe were done by "Buck Films lab") are on either Fuji or Agfa stock. I resorted to replacing all my US printinjgs of these titles with the UK prints of them and they are still pristine to this day. Hail the british!

By the way, if you choose to collect the "Walt Disney Christmas" 400ft release, it's a good pick, which includes an edited version of "Pluto's Christmas Tree" on it! as well as ...
