All rather exciting when a Perrys Movies list comes about and of course Perrys is now the only UK cine film retailer with a business name that dates way back. We are so lucky to have them still plodding on and it was a pleasure to place another order with them and chat with the very nice lady at the other end of the telephone. Thanks for sticking with the hobby all at Perrys!

Well said Lee,I remember my very first feature purchases from
Perry's being their releases of "The Lost World" &"Nosferatu" all
for the princely sum of £10.00 each in std 8mm in the days when
they had their own lab.

The noticeable thing about professionals like Perry's Movies and Paul Foster is that they usually charge reasonable prices, unlike many private sellers who often set their bidding reserves way too high.
For example, b/w 16mm print of 'Lost Horizon' on Ebay; £251.02--- Paul Foster, also 16mm; £79.99. Both quoted as good prints.
A seller on Ebay in Glamorgan, Scotland, has been trying to sell a copy of 'The Unholy Three' for £650 for months but nobody seems wiling to part with that sort of money.
Good luck you may say, but this sort of chancing keeps prints even further out of reach for most of us.

Why Buckingham is not putting their list here. Is the collection too small for public? Or 8mm is only small part of their business?

Hi Winbert,I don't know why Tony hasn't put his list up,but rest
assured he is a great chap to deal with and also very knowledgable
about the hobby. The next time I speak with him I'll ask.

Hey, there is also Barry Attwood of Independent 8, that has been around for years and years, and he is also very reasonable.

Hmmm... Ian?
I sent you an E-mail last monday about "The Black Cat" and haven't got an answer yet.
Maybe you didn't receive it.
So here I go again:

"Hi Ian, ould you please give me the shipping costs for 2169 THE BLACK CAT which I found in your latest list? I live in Switzerland...
And could you please reserve the film for me, if it's still in...
Thank you.
Best regards,
Michael Scheck"

It's now two weeks since I sent a mail about some titles and I have yet not got a answer. Is Ian still busy or has my mail got lost in the cyberspace?
I am still interested, and even if the titles I asked about is gone, there are several others I am interested in, at least one should be left, if I'm not really unlucky.

Now it's one month since I mailed and still no answer.
I have since looked in on his eBay site and noticed that "This seller does not post to Sweden". So maybe that is why there has been no responce. But I think that a simple reply where the fact was explained could have been in place.

And anyway, why state you send worldwide and then exclude several continents and 80-90 specific countries?

Sorry if this got a little bit to much "sour grapes" but there was some titles I really would have liked to add to my collection and now they are probably all gone.

Hi Lars, thats a new one on me,I don't think Ian has any aversion
to selling films to anyone in Sweden,I think Ian will sell to anyone
who wants to buy them.Give him a little jog or better still a phone
call,if he isn't available, then his good lady will sort it out, give it
a shot.
