I acquired this print earlier in the year to show at my Outdoor Movie Series. That showing has passed and I've decided to put the print up for sale.

Print is in good condition, in CinemaScope, and the sound has been re-recorded in booming stereo sound. Sounds fantastic! Mounted on 4 x 1200 reels. There are a few splices at the beginning of reel 2, repair splices due to the prior owner's choice of shipping, and the leader came undone. Agfa print with excellent color and contrast, no yellowing at all.

As far as price, I'm asking what I paid for it, which is $1000. A new print with a re-record would run you around $1500. I'll pay for shipping, media mail, insured. No overseas shipping, due to weight, and cost.

I'm putting this on here through Sunday evening, 11/11/12 at 7 PM, CST. I plan to list on Ebay at that time, if I don't have a buyer here.

Email me if you have any questions.... gdmarshall61(at)yahoo(dot)com.

Thanks,
Greg

Greg, did you notice Paul Foster had a print of E.T. for sale?
This could be the next one, eh eh eh.
Let us know.
Ciao.

I had a mail from him right today. It seems it had gone 5 minutes later the site was updated.

BTW, it was not the German release, but the American one, which was printed from a 16mm positive (compared to the German one, I'd say this is not the best, about sharpness).
My opinion, of course.
Ciao.

I'm just now finding some time to see these posts here, guys.... been so busy with work and the holidays, ya know.

Alan.... of course, I would LOVE to acquire a Star Wars print for my outdoor Summer showings. Who knows, one may come along before I announce my lineup beginning in May.

Gian, thanks for that heads up, but sounds like I would have been way too late to acquire it as well.

I have enough new titles on hand, and throwing in a couple of 'repeats' here and there, to get me by for the next couple of summers.... BUT, I'm sure I'll run across something to put in the line up, thus, bumping something to the next year.
