I have for sale a 400' Super 8 magnetic sound copy of ANCHORS AWEIGH (1945), which runs approximately 16 minutes.
Frank Sinatra sings. Kathryn Grayson sings. Gene Kelly dances. A non-stop musical extract from one of MGMs great musicals. Difficult to reduce from its original 140 minutes!
Very good condition (only one join) with very good colour on the later (1978 date code) Eastman stock, it is in its original MGM 400' clam-shell case.
Please note that the short section with Gene Kelly dancing with Jerry Mouse is missing - why do collectors excise musical numbers from their films?
I am only selling as I have recently purchased a copy which is complete.
