Hello!

I just wanted to let you all know that I am selling my super 8 archive as a job lot on ebay. There is about 25000ft of holidays and weddings etc on there.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MASSIVE-Super-8mm-Archive-Holidays-Honeymoons-etc-1960s-1980s-Job-Lot-25000ft-/281483626618?pt=UK_Vintage_Film&hash=item4189bb487a

Thanks,

Dave

My goodness! What a nice large lot! I hope that you aren't depending on a digital medium to keep your memories stored!

Digital can be corrupted in a mere period of months ...

Kodachrome, (and the other super 8 home movie film stocks) still looks just as good, color and all, whether shot 80 years ago or the last reels shot not so long ago!

Osi, read the Ebay description. It's not Dave's personnal memories. And, by the way, welcome to the forum, Dave.

Aww, didn't read it all, a common mistake. [Smile]

Well, I hope that the person who parting with this collection has saved it in a good long lasting format, but what could be more long lasting than the original footage?
