I just bought a collection and it contained the documentary series The World in Flames. It's 20 reels of 400' size, but the sad thing is, it should be 22. I am missing Part 11: Battle of Moscow and Part 17: Battle of Leningrad.

I would love to have them in the original boxes, but if none is possible to get, I'd settle for loose reels.

It looks like this

Would be nice to have the whole collection. Oh, they should be with english audio

you did well there, we have 16 of these and are looking for 1 2 and 3 which would make our collection more coherent.
As it happens i was in a dvd store in the town centre a month ago and saw the whole series on three discs for a mere £2. i bought it to see how it compares, it is very good but you cant beat it on the big screen. I must add also, this series isn't a patch on the 1970s TV series the World at War,narrated by Laurence Olivier. These often come up on 16mm but there's too many episodes and i think most have turned red.

I do hope they are not too rare, as I'd hate to not have the complete series. 20 out of 22 is okay, but it nags me that there's gaps :-)

I'd pay decent for them (not ridiculous though)

years ago before we ordered our first one we asked the dealer if there were plans to drop the series.we were told absolutely not.
just four or five in they dropped the series.we were fuming. they do come up now and again but it is hard to find a specific episode. its taken us years to get what we have and still need quite a few, like you we wont pay stupid money.

This is a rarity then, I suppose. Still hoping to find the remaining two parts. Any help appreciated

Thanks
