Up for sale is a Super 8mm CHC release of a 1930s British sports compilation film. Difficult to find any information on this film online aside from being listed on the CHC website. After some digging, I found a Kieth Wilton review in an old The Reel Image issue that describes the content throughly:

“Circa 1935/36 sporting 'album' recorded at the old Imperial sound studios that opens the cheery music of 'Were in the money”. There then follows sequences on the Hendon Air Pageant, Pigeon Racing, The 1935 Derby, The Manx Motor Race (isle of Man). a boxing match with the towel thrown in during the tenth round, Fred Perry winning at Wimbledon against the German contender, in what seems a leisurely match and gentlemanly finish compared to those of today (hard fought matches of a different kind between Britain and Germany were not that far off). An exhibition by the British Olympic female swimmers leads to the crowning event of the sporting year- the cup final (football aka as soccer') at Wembley
Completing this reel, and for many possibly the item of most interest is a jolly bouncing-ball' reminder to fill your Littlewoods football pools and 'put you bobs (twelv pence) and Tanners (six pence) on number one or two' - etc, etc.
Quite an interesting historical reel, made all that more collectable by the excellent Littlewoods concluding item - by far the best bouncing-ball musical short this reviewer has seen. Print A/B Sound A/B.”

200ft acetate b&w sound print, condition like-new (barring the light but not distracting wear inherent from old source material), full original leaders, no splices or sound drop-outs noted.

Asking £8+p&p.
