FYI, while checking ebay australia, I came across a
xenon elmo GS 1200. Hard to say what shape it is in...the guy states he doesn't know much about projectors. Don't know if anyone is looking for a xenon model.
I lucked out. I bought a GS1200, after hearing so much about them on 8mm Forum. I bought one from a seller in Argentina.
when it arrived in the states...It had been poorly packaged. The packaging was beat to sh*t. However...plugged it in, and other than some nicks and a broken handle...works great! I now see why their reputation is so high. The funny this is the same seller later had another for sale....using the exact same picture as the one he shipped me. My worry is the thing will need some work someday. Well...can't worry about that untilit happens. I am not good at electronics...don't know it I could do anything other that change belts, or lube the thing if it needed it.

I believe this is the auction Neil is referring to.

Neil,

Congratulations on your GS surviving the trip from Argentina!

It comes with some top accessiores. Is that the 1.2 long throw lens mentioned?, thats worth a bit + also the remote controller. A good buy if the price is right.

Lars it looks ok to me. At least the seller has confirmed that the lamp strikes up ok as this would be an expensive replacement on top of the final price. Nice to see a great collection of Elmo accessories included with it but 2 std Halogen lamps included as well!

The image on screen from the GS Xenon is really nice and really makes that small super8 image shine out.

Kev.
