It's a long shot, but I'm looking for the aluminum plate logo/label that is glued onto the hard cover of a Bolex 18-5 Super projector. I'm thinking maybe might have a junk projector laying around for parts and they would sell me the label. Name your price. Thanks

Jim: Yes, that is it, but for the 18-5 Super. I believe you have the regular 18-5.

Yes. You probably know Bolex got a little confusing with their numbering. They made the 18-5, 18-5 Auto, 18-5 Super and the 18-5L. And two versions of the 18-5L.

So many of these projectors have lost that badge, you'd think someone would have come up with a facsimile replacement for those of us who think such things important. Your best option may be to buy another projector on eBay - maybe not running and, so, inexpensive - and lift the badge from it.

I've considered that. Just thought I'd try here. It's funny how the Swiss dropped the ball in deciding to glue the badges on. The one on the lamp housing is glued also. The rest of the projector is built exceptionally well.

Well, I hopped on the forum here to post about the same darn thing. I've got one sitting here beside me that needs the logos as well. Fooey. But more importantly, I need a power cable! Anybody got any ideas on where to get one, REASONABLY priced? Don't wanna spend 30 odd bucks to find out the projector is dead....

I have some of these projectors (standard 8) and the badges have fallen off what is a good fixative to repair them?

I've used Gorilla glue. Hopefully it'll last. I think most any modern adhesive that won't compromise the finish on the case would work.
