A1/232 15V 150W £5
vs.
A1/234 15V 150W £2.50
Can they be placed in ST-1200?

The A1/234 doesn't have a reflector, it won't be any good for the ST1200.

Yes, only the A1/232 can be placed in the ST-1200.
