Steve asked me to pass on this request. He needs to find a couple of Super 8 cameras. Bell and Howell T-50 and Yaschica LD-6. He said he needs them rather badly and rather quickly.
His phone number is 937-296-9036.
email is thereelimage_043@yahoo.com
He'd appreciate any help you can give him to locate these two items.
thanks.

I have to ask: why are they needed quickly?
[Confused]

If a customer contacted you and needed some equipment in a certain time frame wouldn't you want to get it to them quickly?

Sure! But I would still wonder why they wanted those particular cameras when there are so many to choose from.

I agree with Joe on this, fair enough if someone needed it quick
but it begs the question, why? I might be to do a shot in some
hollywood film where your precious camera is to destroyed as
they didn't get the correct shot on the first take.Just a thought.

Why would it matter to us as to 'why' he needs it quickly? He has a request he's trying to fulfill... pretty cut and dry, I'd think. I certainly don't need to know why he needs it... it's really none of my business. [Razz]

That's kinda what I was thinkin'...none of our business really [Smile]

The search is on! [Smile]

Nope; it sure ain't any of our Business. But I am sure many would wonder why even if they didn't ask. And providing a reason for the rush might even help by creating more initiative.

If you go to a Bank for a loan, one of the first questions they ask
is ; what do you want it for?

Sorry folks, the question of why seems rude to me. Someone puts in a request to buy a camera and a reason is needed? If Steve wanted to borrow the camera then yes, the question "What are you going to use my camera for?" is valid, however that is not the case here. Back on topic please.

Let me have a crack at it:

If anybody out there has either a Bell and Howell T-50 or Yashica LD-6 you can spare please contact Steve Osborne at thereelimage_043@yahoo.com.

He's a great friend of the hobby. Here's a chance to return the favor.

Hi Steve,I've sent an email to Steve Osborne,It's probably something to do with frame lines in a film,as you know some
cameras do differ in that respect, but I'm just guessing. It might
be parts,in which case if this old camera's of use,it's his.

Steve sometimes takes a few days to get back, but he will.

" the user does not have a Yahoo account " If the user is me, I
haven't.Perhaps you could pass the message on as he doesn't
seem to be a member of the forum.
