I'm looking to buy a super 8 viewer that can take 1200ft reels.
Also a super 8 splicer (splicing tape would be a bonus).
Even if you could let me know of any stores that might sell these. I live in Sydney. Regards Garry.

The only ones that I'm aware of that have this capability are the Elmo 912/S and the Goko 8008. Also rebadged as the Erno overseas I think. There is one on Ebay right now and it's a good price but shipping to Australia could negate any savings you might get.

1200' is just too big. I never knew there is one exist.
Alan, according to super8data Elmo 912S and Goko 8008 is max. 800' (240m):
