I am currently searching the world over for as many 5" 8mm Film Canisters as I can possibly get my hands on. Willing to pay up to $10 per can in decent-good condition.

Do you need only the 5" cans? would 7" ( for 400 ft. reel )
be of any use to you? I have no 5" but have 6 metal 7" . Let me know.

Hello Burton. I am specifically looking for the 5" 200ft canisters. Cans only and mainly looking for the metal versions. New or used. I understand they are not manufactured anymore but am looking for any resources possible. I came across one company that has 3000 currently still in stock and in its original packaging from the 70s. I am also looking for any company that might still have the old dies for cutting out the metal cans. Looking to reproduce the cans for a cool vintage photo/video product.
