Hi, I recently bought a used Sankyo Dualux 1000 on ebay. It's in great shape but even turning it up to the fastest speed is still a bit slow, so the film stutters a bit. It seems a bit better once it warms up.

Before I go and try changing belts, is there some kind of adjustment inside that would affect this, or is it likely a loose or older belt?

Thanks for any assistance ...

If it is better when warmed I would suspect old grease and that removing it and re-lubricating might help.

I just changed the belt and that seems to have been the problem.

Thank you for your assistance, and to the great YouTube videos on how to change the belt. Such a useful forum!
